I think I might have a depression coming on. Last month I went all wacky with the crying and irritability and just crazy mood swings before my period. However it seems to be happening today and I'm on day 13 of 40 day cycles. I just feel so down. I called in sick to work cause I was sick this morning. Nauseous. Gross. I balled on the phone with my boss. I have energy spurts where I need to be productive and then I'm exhausted. No in between. Is this depression? When I was 17 I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. But that seems to be for the most part non-existent now. It flares up every once in a blue moon but I'm generally very good. Right now I just want to curl up and cry.

Aw, Erinn...I'm sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Your posts always make me smile.

To me, yes, it does sound like depression. After I had my dd, my anti-d pretty much stopped working, and that was me: felt just icky, couldn't get any energy or ambition, sad, teary...

I think the general rule of thumb for true, actual depression is two weeks of feeling that way. But I hate even one day of feeling that way, KWIM?

Are you thinking about seeing your doctor for possible med therapy?

Ambien CR, 12.5 mg. Yep, I'm an addict!
Effexor XR, 150 mg.
Metformin, 1000 mg.

One round 50 mg Clomid cd 5-9 + 500 mg Met = SURPRISE BFP after being told O hadn't happened!!!

I have an appt with my new gyne on the 21st. So I'll discuss it then. It's so weird though, cause sometimes I'm fine. More then fine. And sometimes I'm completely non-functional. And I'm pretty well able to deal with crap. As you can probably tell from my posts I have a bit of a quirky outlook. It enables me to let most things roll off my back. But lately... I've been crying. Which sucks.
