Unhappy Depressed about weight gain!

I was doing so well with the weight loss a year ago and now I have gotten such a good report about my blood sugar being within normal range but I have had about a 15 pound weight gain since September 11th, and I am so depressed about it.

I am starting IVF soon and I so wanted to be less than what I am now so when and if I do get pregnant, I don't end up in the 200+ range. I mean I understand that all the IVF drugs make you gain weight anyway, and the more weight I gain, the more trouble I'll have in pregnancy. Ugh! I just can't shake this depression over the weight gain. I didn't want to post this in under depression or rant because I need some help or suggestions from fellow diabetic cysters.

I know how you feel, its a catch 22 situation.

All you can do is eat a healthy diet and do exercise, at least you will know that you are doing your best to control your weight.

Is your diabetes under control? what meds are you taking?

My diabetes is under good control, but weight isn't

I'm taking 1500mg/day glucaphage and that's it for now. I guess I got used to the amount of met because now I have an appetite back. I was losing weight just fine when I was sick from ther medication!

Oh, and thanks for the hug
