depression during preg and rough preg (warning can be triggering)
im having such a rough go at this preg. it was bad with my twins, and this preg was quite a shock becouse i got prego on the pill and was not wanting to be prego...
now im getting sicker and sicker, and puking at least 10 times a day sometimes up to 60 or 70.... its now to the point where im not able to eat or drink... im going in for fluids via a PICC line (its a semi perm iv that is in my arm and goes up to my heart) and the meds that they are giving me just arnt helping.
i was one of the lucky people who got hypermisis and got it worse with the seccond pregnacy.
im not feeling bonded at all with this baby and every time she gives strong kicks i puke. im just not doing good.
i havent gained any weight this pregnacy, and i cant keep food down, and im starting to get melnurtion and other issues, but since im chubby they say i can stand to loose.
my teeth are very bad right now becouse of all the vomiting, and i cant brush my teeth without puking and that kinda defets the purpuse.
im just feeling like crap.
the medications to try to keep me out of the hosptal cost more then any of the fertility meds we had to take for getting prego for the girls. i mean the max we paid a month was about $500.... we are spending way over $1000 a month for meds that dont work for the nausia....
im just done. i just want this baby out of me. I cant even get on antidepressents becouse i cant keep them down.... i hate this..... i hate feeling this way, and hate not feeling bonded, and hate that no one around me understands.
i dont even get to see my kids all that much becouse of being sick, and becouse i have this PICC line i cant be alone with the kids becouse i cant lift them.I have a 10lb weight limit for lifting with the arm that has the picc.... it just sucks.... today i got to see the kids for about 15 min in the morning before they were off, and then i get to see them 15 min on the drive to the hosptal and it just sucks......
im sooo done. im just done.....

oh hun, you don't sound too good! I hope you find the strength to cope with the last few weeks of your pregnancy. Big hug to you.

Since 01/09: Metformin 2000mg & Low GI diet
thx wish... they upped my fluids and meds to every other day at the hosptal. if i cant start keeping food down they are admiting me till the c-section date... not looking forward to that....

thanks ladies. was admited on tuesday and just got out today. they hope they cant control the vomiting now.
i also started an anidepressent while in the hosptal. lets hope it works.
only 14 or so more days till my c-sec and then my hormones level can get back to normal...

Hugs and good juju from me too. Think of the karma you're building up though! If she's a nightmare now, she'll be an angel as she grows. I know you're not bonding with her now, but please, please don't let her see it when she's old enough to understand. Just remember that every PCOS momma's baby is a little miracle. Some of us go through crap to conceive, some after. They're all still miracles. Keep us posted, hun!

thames- thanks.... i hit 36 weeks today... it means only 7 more days till i hit full term and have the appt with my OB and we can talk c-section ASAP.... im just done. the meds arnt working as well anymore, and im just wanting to be done.... im wanting to just have her in my arms and take her home and start a normal life.... i want to eat.... and ya....
and with all this not eating i somehow gained 10lbs!

I'm so sorry you are struggling so much! My sister went through something very similar and I am sure it is frustrating - for her it was the feeling that everyone else gets a "good" and "exciting" pregnancy and she got the barfing-always sick-pic line-fluids-nutrition and admitted early pregnancy. In a way, she felt a little jipped. But now, she has two beautiful twin boys and she realizes it was worth it - except of course for the days when they are driving her crazy (they are almost two...). I will be wishing the best for you and hopefully you will be in a position to deliver VERY SOON! HUGS!

I am so sorry. Having struggled with depression myself quite a bit over the past year, I really feel for you. There us nothing more frustrating than feeling numb and/or disconnected from the world around you. My prayers are with you.

thanks ladies. i had Samantha on the 15th, c-section went well, spinal not so much. samantha and my hubby came to recovery with me and i think that helped with the depression stuff....
just trying to deal with being stressed right now becouse my mom is in the hosptal and i had to speek to the hosptal social worker...
