I just found out that my OB/GYN has stopped practicing medicine. He has gone full time to research.

I desperately need to find a new practioner. I now have an Endo so I don't really need someone to deal with my PCOS, I just need regular ob/gyn type care. Since I have to switch docs I would like someone I would be comfortable with for pregnancy.

I can't just switch to another doctor in my old doctors practice because I would never ever consider letting them near me while I was pregnant. They are into the 'oh you have a really big baby we need to induce' but baby turns out to be 7 pounds, 'circumcision is the only way to go', 'why on earth wouldn't you want an epidural, episitomy, etc' school of medicine.

I need a nurse practioner, midwife, or enlightened ob/gyn in the Los Angeles area. I would prefer to stay on the Westside.
