I was just wondering if anyone is currently on this Dexamethasone. Especially w/clomid and met.
I saw my fertily doc today and he prescibed it for me for next cycle. But I am on cd 7 today and I am taking clomid from cd3 -7, my family doc gave me the clomid. So I was thinking it is ok to just start the dexamethasone today.

Do you know why the dr told you to take it? I just googled it.

Here is the link. I think you should read this before just starting to take it. Then again, I am always concerned why I am taking something and how it can affect me.
It says not to take with aspirin, oral diabetes medications, and to discuss any vitamins/minerals/herbs you are taking with your dr before you start taking it. I noticed you take metformin as well as baby aspirin. You may want to check on it first.

Thanks SandV. He told me to take it, because it helps the lining. He also told me to take metformin and baby aspirin also. So I don't know. I already stopped taking it, because I believe I already ovulated.

I took Dexamethasone with clomid and met for 2 cycles. The dr said it should help reduce my androgen levels and help with the lining. I did "o" with that combination, but BFN's. I didn't have any side effects or anything with it...

I take Dexamethasone w/clomid and 2000mg of met. My RE said that it is supposed to interfere with the DHEA hormones that come from your pituitary glands which mess with your androgen levels and the lining of your uterus. I don't notice any symptoms or any side effects, and I do ovulate every month w/the clomid and now the follistim shots.
