Points: 3,459.78 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,459.78 | wow What a blast from the past!! I just got e-mail notification to my OLD thread.
My 'dexamethasone baby' was born on 1-23-2004, Henrik William. I was induced at 37+ weeks for PIH, labored for 54 hours (yes, 54) and ended up with a c-section (which was fine by me). Henrik was born weighing 8 lb 4.8 oz, 20 " long...and is one of the loves of my life! He's over 15 months old now. I was only on Dex until I was about 6-7 weeks pregnant. (the doc said being pregnant in itself would straighten out my androgens, so no need for it while preg).
After Henrik was born, of course my husband and I were completely in love. I was on bcp's for one cycle, when my husband suggested we just not prevent (since it took effort to conceive #1)...2 cycles later this happend (without meds) ...
Oskar Peter was born on 2-28-2005 He was born vis scheduled c-section at 39w2d. 9 pounds even, 20 1/2 inches. We're thrilled to have 2...and feel so lucky.

Points: 3,459.78 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,459.78 | I was told to go OFF of it while pregnant, since pregnancy in itself will supress androgens...this was the call of 2 docs actually, my ob/gyn who sub-specialized in infertility and a colleague of his who was the head of an infertility center at the local university (he had a little conference with the other doc about me)...
