We have been talking about adoption for what seems like forever. I have felt like I have been the instigator on the whole thing. I didn't want to rush it and knew that he had to be on board before we started anything. Well, back in
June I went back to my old job the sole reason of saving money for adoption. We had discussed that we had to have all the money for adoption, he said that we weren't going to get a loan (he said this last year). That is why I got the job. Well, yesterday we had a great talk. He told me that he didn't think it was fair about the money that I making from my job that I was putting money aside for adoption and we weren't paying off our debt. We just paid off one of our cars so the money from that I was going to pay off the credit cards. Well, anyhow, he told me that when it came time to pay off the adoption that we could take out of loan. So now, the money that I making is going towards the bills...I feel very relieved...we are going to have the credit cards paid by December...YEAH!!!
We are also starting the adoption in January. But I think that we could start earlier if dh got either a different job within his company. He wants to be able to home more esp. when we have a child. So I think that this is good. I think that things are looking up. I am VERY excited!!!!!
I can't wait for January 1st to come!!!
I can't wait to be a mom!!!!

Wohoooo congrats. Adoption is a wonderful thing trust me as an adoptee and an adopter I know both sides and it can be so wonderful. It is great that your DH sees that being a family is super important and that he is onboard with you! Good luck
