Default DHEA levels

My daughter has been told that she has PCOS, she is 21 years old and has always had a regular period, she has very blonde facial hair and back aches, migraines. They dx her from the following blood work, everything was normal but her cholesterol was high as was her Tris, and LDL Her DHEA sulfate was high at 510 with the limits between 65-380. She was given Lipitor and Metformin 500 BID. I am wondering about the Metformin does this lower the DHEA level? She is losing weight and trys to exercise, is it possible to lower the level of DHEA with weight loss , and come off the lipitor and metformin?

Just diagnosed - elevated DHEA?

Dexamethasone for elevated DHEAS

Insulin sensitizers never impacted my dheas at all. For that, I needed to add dexamethasone. Insulin sensitizers did help my testosterone, however. HTH!
