DHEA-Sulfate Blood Test? I have recently switched reproductive endocrinologists because my first RE moved out of state. I had my files transferred from the first doc to the new doc. After reviewing my files from the first doc office, the new RE said that they never did one particular blood test, which is DHEA-Sulfate. He said that this would actually say if I have PCOS, because it could be a different problem (I forget the name of the disease/disorder he told me) but he said that the other problem has the same exact symptoms as PCOS, but the treatment plan would be different. Has anyone ever heard of this, had this test done, or know what the name of the other disease/disorder is? I wanted to do some research on it. Thanks.
