Default DHEAS even higher after met - anyone else?

Hey everyone!

I just recently had labs redrawn and was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I started 1500mg of met back in July. After three months, my testosterone was normal (yeah!) but my DHEAS had actually risen to 401 (previoulsy 341). I also lost 12 lbs - from 120 down to 108 (not intentional). Went back to see endo and she decided to test my adrenals and cut my metformin back to 1000 and told me to gain 10 lbs. Cortisol, ACTH, and TSH are very normal - so I'm guessing no adrenal problems. But why would my DHEAS still be elevated? My endo gave me the impression that it should have declined with the metformin. I am ovulating (yeah again!) but can I get pregnant with the elevated DHEAS? I read a few articles that met can cause an elevation in DHEAS.

This just keeps getting more and more confusing....
Thanks!
