I was doing some reading and saw that some diabetics do not get positive hpt's until they are around 12 weeks. Has anyone experienced this?

I have not experienced this. I'm type 2 and with my first baby I got my BFP at about six weeks pg, and with this pg, about 3 or 3 1/2 weeks pg. It may be that some diabetics don't, but my experience wasn't this way. HTH!

Mine were early positives. My last one was testing at 10 dpo, and this one (guessing as we don't know the exact O date) was about 12 dpo...

Even my chemical with a beta of 11 showed a positive test and I'm totally a type 2 diabetic on solid 2000mg metformin (avandia with it when not pregnant).. and on insulin during pregnancy.

I am Type II as well.. and got a +HPT at about 12 DPO.. so it was an early + for me...
