Hi,
I am 26 and was diagnose with PCOS 1year ago. I am still not sure how to respond to this. I am 111lbs and have never been overweight. I have always had an irregular period. One month yes one month no, I have never gone 2months without getting a period.I started on birth control before I got married and since 12/07 I have stooped. I am currently seeing a RE. I currently had a whole bunch of lab work which all came back normal. I am not insulin resistance and I do not have elevated male hormones. My DR said since I have cystic ovaries, irregular periods and elevated LH level I have PCOS. I am currently trying to have a baby and the RE wants to start me on Clomid. I am scarred and do not know what to expect. I am also discouarged because I can not find much information on what to do when you are thin with PCOS. Does anyone one have any advice.thanks.
