Hi everyone! I was diagnosed in 2001 at age 22, now almost 28 and have only been on BCP this whole time. I just got a Rx for Met today, primarily to lose weight. I'll probably start it this weekend b/c I have a final exam on Friday and don't want to have to be running to the bathroom during the test.
My doc says I've lost 18 pounds since a visit I had in January but it has been extremely hard and involved some fasting. WHen I eat, even if it's healthy, I gain or stay the same, despite exercise. I'm hoping the Met will help with that so I can eat healthily. I have a long way to go. Wish me luck or just say hi! This seems like a great community, been lurking for a while.
My stats:
Married almost 7 years
No children
Not TTC (want them, just not now)
I graduate law school May 12
Live in South Florida
