Diagnosed by default I'm curious how everyone has been diagnosed with PCOS. My OB/GYN has diagnosed me by default because I'm obese (I hate that word but it's true), most of my weight is in my middle section, I do ovulate but every 3 months I have a long cycle of 40+ days and the other cycles I have short LPs and some of them are 21 days to 33 days long.
I got my first EVER BFP last November only to lose the baby Dec. 7. I've not had an luck TTC since my M/C. I do have my CD3 blood work scheduled for after this cycle's completed by I'm still waiting to O and that could be another week. Then we will try Clomid if the blood work comes back normal. Is this a pretty typical way to handle "infertility" and deal with "default" diagnosed PCOS?? Has anyone ever heard of being diagnosed by default?
BTW I'm currently taking Royal Jelly, Vitex, Prenatals, Cinnamon. I just started the Royal Jelly and Cinnamon this cycle. I'm really praying for a BFP but am starting to feel like I will never be a mom. Between my odd cycles and seeming very uninterested it's getting increasingly difficult to keep my head up.
