Hi ladies,
First I would like to thank SC for having a very imformative site! It's so nice to be able to talk among all you ladies who share the same medical issues. I am 25 years old, married and have been finally diagnosed with PCOS. I hit puberty when I was 12 years old, which was very horrific if I might add! I thought I was so different from any other girl. None of my friends had their periods, or boobs... When I was 15 I became sexually active and went on Depo-Prevera. My period was never normal to begin with, and then I went on this shot. I was a mental mess, and 1 year later I quit going for the injections. I had my period for 3 months straight, and after that until now I am lucky to have a period twice a year. Went to the Dr's and they put me on the pill to try and regulate it, well I got my period on time while I was on it. Now that I am married we want to start trying to concieve, knowing we will need some help with medication. I go my Doc this week to discuss what we can do to concieve. I already went for bloodwork, and ultrasounds, but now they want me to get a HSG to see if there is a block in my tubes. Any comments on this? Any info would be great!! I also have the other symptoms, like getting hairy, skin tags under my armpitts, acne breakouts..ect. This feels so relieving to able to talk with other who have the same as me. Everyone I talk to when I say I have PCOS, is like what is that?
