So I found out yesterday I have Pcos. I'm a little confused/sad. We've been TTC for 6 months but nothing. I've never had a regular AF since I was 11yrs. Only 2-3 a year if I was lucky!!! At least I know what the problem is now. Dr. sent a script for Metformin....I will start that next week. Just seeking a little advice. How effective is Met? Any side effects? How quickly might you get pregnant on it? How does Pcos progress? Is it better to have a baby sooner than later?
Sorry for all the questions .... just feeling unsure. I have no idea what to think!!! Any advice/support would be greatly appreciated!

I have only recently started taking Met recently my self......so I cant testify 2 results...but i have heard many good things about it....and 4 ppl TTC (not that i am)....if u look at other Threads here u would see in fact there is a whole forum jus about MET u should check that out....but i'll warn u that u feel a bit sick when jus starting off on the MET until ur ody gets accustom 2 it.....which is like a week or two after....I hope like most ppl u get good results 2!
