Hi ,

A little bit about me ... I'm 21 & I live in NSW Australia . I live with my boyfriend of 4 years and I'm an animal fanatic ( Well We are animal fanatics ... we have 20 pets )

I went in for a ultrasound today , to find out why my period didn't show up last month .... After all my pregnancy tests had come back negative , my biggest fear was a surprise baby who was hiding from tests . I didn't even consider that I might have PCOS . In fact my doctor didn't even tell me that it was even a slight possibility .

The doctor who did my ultrasound told my mum that I have PCOS . So I have to go back to my normal doctor tomorrow .

I guess I'm a little shocked ... to say the least .

I look forward to learning more about PCOS , meeting all of you who are already dealing with PCOS & meeting all those who are diagnosed after me ...
