My dr. has prescribed me with metformin and said I have symptoms of PCOS and its most-likely what I have. Had more blood test (of course the same tests I've had done before) so I'm guessing those will do something in the way of telling me what's going on. We've been TTC for 2 1/2 years with no luck at all. I've been poked, proded, squeezed, and probed for over a year now and now that I have a prescription in hand I'm hoping it means we're closer to an answer...or maybe a miracle.

Anywho, I'm happy to have found this site! It's making me feel a little more comfortable with this.

Hello and Welcome. I take metformin as well. It hasn't helped me conceive but I have read a lot of ladies on here conceive with metformin alone. I take other fertility medicines and am waiting on a BFP. I know you will find support here because we all know what it's like.

5 cycles of Clomid up to the max-No O
1 round of 2.5mg femara-O'd- BFN
5 rounds 5mg femara-O'd BFN (4 IUI's)
BCP in Nov.-Dec.
Femara/Menopur in Jan +IUI
