Unhappy A diagnosis

Well finally on friday i got a diagnosis from my g.p i think he couldn't ignore me due to the fact i had been having a period for 6 weeks after not having one for 5 months also i had put on another stone in weight and am now unable to find a part of my body that is not hairy. How attractive i sound!
Anyway he started me on transfemanic acid to stop the bleeding and dianette to try to stop everything else but i have my doubts.
One of the most important things for me is to level my mood swings i go from one extreme to another in the space of 5 minutes and feel unable to contol them has anyone got advice.

Thumbs up Good for you!

Hey Meghen,

I can't offer you any advice on the mood swing front but I'm glad that your persistence paid off - Good on you....

Hang in there,

JJ

Welcome to Soulcysters Meghen

I'm glad you finally have a name for what you are dealing with. It might be best to post your question about mood swings in "Do you have this problem" as you would get a wider range of answers. I don't want to move this post as I think there may be some UK cysters who could give good advice as well.
Take care
Love

Hi Meghen,

Well done on your doctor helping to sort you out, but be very vary of Dianette. In the short term it might help, but the over whelming majority of cysters here put on more weight, had exceptionally high blood pressure and got even more moody (I know I did, threw my boyfriends portible cd player out of a train window) So ask your GP after your bledding has stopped for another alternative and do some research. Plus ask us, we have all been there, bought the tshirt etc!

Good luck!
