Im asking this question for my friend that has just been dioganised with PCOS,
I got metformin from the doctor when i was told i had pcos, but my friend has been given dianben - metformin

is this the same stuff as diformin?

Yes. metformin is the brand name, but each drug company has it's own brand of the drug: dianben, glycon, there are a ton.

Its still the same medicine.
