Default Diane-35

I remember reading something about Diane-35. But I don't recall if it was good. Is it dangerous or more of a risk to take than other BCP's?

I was on Diane-35 for 5 months, it's a lower dose (not the lowest, yasmin is lower) BCP I was fine until I started to get migraines. At first I thought it was just from the flu or something but i looked up Diane and the side effects and found that to be one. It worked well for regulating everything, periods would last for maybe 4-5 days. My bra size grew too!!!!!!!! other then that I don't have much else

Moo Girl (great name by the way) I grew two cup sizes and I HATED it and they were SO painful on Diane ... Diane has to be closely monitored in the UK as its prone to causing high blood pressure and blood clots ... I had to come off it

Years ago i was put on diane35 and LOVED it...til one day my dr called me a said get off it right away cuz of blood clots blah blah blah...i was really torn cuz it was working wonders for the chin hair and all that but oh well...

anyway, i'm done ttcing and my RE just put me back on it, and he gave me a memo from the medical association of something or other...condeming faulty studies and reporting practices causing a general panic, saying that diane35 does not cause any more problems then any other bcp for pcos women its just that more pcos women were on it at the time...and NOT to worry about it...it has no more issues then any other bcp...

so i am quite happy to go back on it as a bcp choice...my family doc had prescribed the ortho evra patch and i didnt start cuz THAT scared me...i'm relieved to go back on diane35. the memo is out somewhere in the car ill dig it up and post what it said if you like...if i can find it.
