dianette-good or bad?

hi there

following on from my rather long first post, I have also been percribed dianette, I was just wondering if anyone else is taking this and how good it has been, has there been any bad side affects? i.e weight gain? or good ones wieght loss?

Hi Mimi!

I've been taking Dianette (it's also called Diane-35) for about four years now, I haven't really noticed any side affects. It didn't affect my weight at all. It also didn't clear up my acne (though it's marketed in Canada as an acne drug) and maybe it prevented more hirituism, but it didn't slow down the hair that was already growing in unwanted places.

I've read a few others experiences with it on the board, so hopefully they'll be able to add to this thread.
