Default Did anyone have thyroid issues also with your PCOS diagnoses?

According to the ob-gyn, my blood work shows an elevated thyroid.
I feel so sick recently, severe fatigue, I can't concentrate, always hungry.

I know thats not all thyroid, but I feel so miserable and I don't know what it is.

Thyoid issues are not unusual with PCOS:

(I'm also going to move your post to the 'HYPOTHYROID FORUM'...you'll get lots of input there!

I actually found out that I had a thyroid problem first. The dr. suspects I have PCOS also, but I need to get blood work done at the end of the month to confirm her suspicions.

You are not alone. For a while I did not have a regular cycle (but at the time I was under a stressful situation), was feeling tired, had weight gain, and mood swings. I attributed this to stress. I had to have a physical for insurance purposes and my TSH came back high. I was in shock. After being on Synthroid for a while my cycle was still not back so my Doc did some blood work for PCOS. That too came back positive, which again surprized me. Good news is that with my thyroid medication Ive had 4 cycles in a row now without interruption. Weird thing about your thyroid I think it flares up sometimes. I have Hashi's (due to antibodies). At first my TSH got back in range, then on my last visit I had "brain fog" again told my Doc and she did another TSH on me. She was ready to say " I'll see you in 6 months"..turned out my TSH was high again and meds had to be bumped up. Its not uncommon and having both, would be nice to have 1 pill to get all these hormones in check again for good.
