Hi Girls!

I'm looking for anyone who might have successfully concieved on a cycle where they ovulated late. I just got a positive OPK today (CD26). Is there any hope for a BFP and healthy pregnancy.

My first m/c was late ovulation, but I suspect my hormones were imbalanced at the time, it was basically a chemical pregnancy.

I do have several friends who have conceived as last as 40+ days with healthy babies tho! And cd 26 isn't terribly late for some pcos women

Yes a good friend of mine was on clomid as well with one of her girls! I think she o'd around cd 28 or so if I remember right but that was a long time ago!

yes!! 3 of the 4 times I have gotten PG were from late O. I had a m/c twice but my Dr and I believe it was due to a large fibroid I had. I just delievered a healthy little girl back in June that was the result of a late O around CD24 I believe. The other pregnancies I O'd around CD21 or 22 I think. There are a good many women on these boards who O'd a lot later and went on to get PG and have healthy pregnancies and babies! I was on Tamoxifen (similar to Clomid) with all of my late O's.

I've conceived 3 times w/late ovulation. The first 2 ended in m/c, but had nothing to do w/o'ing late. With this baby, i o'ed on cd28 or so...and i'm right on track.

I also O'd on CD 28 after taking 150 mg of Clomid from CD 3-7, and I had pretty much given up on this cycle until pre-op bloodwork showed I was pg! So far so good here, good luck to you!

I O'd between CD 66-70 and my baby girl is just fine! She is now 2 pounds and I can't wait to meet her in 3 months. I was only on Met and Vitex.

The trick for us was 2000 mg Metformin, 500mg of Vitex, Chiropractor, and lots of prayer.

I was on Clomid 100mg days 5-9 and I ovulated 2 weeks late. I thought the cycle was a bust so i just gave up because I never even got a + opk but I took a test when i was a few days late and it was positive. I am 16 weeks now and everything is going good.

My current pregnancy was concieved on or about CD 37! Baby is doing wonderful and growing right on track

We conceived this little peanut on about CD36. We weren't using OPK's that is just an estimate based on ultrasounds so it could be plus or minus a few days. The little one is growing good (I am 35 weeks along) and it is estimated to weigh 5lb 12 oz. Good luck!
