Did Byetta help with cycle regulation?

Hey everybody!!

I was recently prescribed Byetta 5mcg first and 10mcg for next month. My doc is well aware that my dh and I are TTC. My question is did it help to regulate cycles enough to "o"?? She said if it did not help to straighten out my hormones enough to have a regular cycle she would put me on Avandia next month... She is supposed to be one of the leading PCOS experts in Phila. But the responses on the Byetta Club make a person wonder....

Hey Brandy, I've been on birth control pills for 13 years and after 6 months on Byetta (3 months on 5mcg and 3 months on 10mcg) I was able to go off my birth control pills and I ovulated (for only the second time in my entire life). Even though, I am NOT trying to conceive. I am currently waiting for my 2nd period to see if I can do it twice in a row - should know in about a week. Good luck to you and your hubby!!
