I have a large problem with acne and very oily skin. I just started glucophage. So far no real side effects (knock on wood, but I'm only on 500mgs and ramping up) I am hoping, hoping, hoping that this'll help with the acne. Any input??? Experiences???

YES! Glucophage helped clear my acne up! It started clearing up on 1500mg and stayed clear on 2000mg. Good luck with upping it!

I noticed my face was finally clear on my 2nd month of 1000mg of Metformin. Actually even my body acne has cleared up A LOT!

I have tried it all, antibiotics, bcp, all types of cleansers, creams and nothing has worked until now. The only time I break out is right before AF and so far only small pimples. Before they used to be huge, red, painful things. Really nasty!
