Default Did Nioxin work for you?

I just bought Nioxin shampoo, conditioner , and leave-in treatment. I have thinning in the front of my hairline and alot of shedding. I hope this works for me, did it work for you?

YES! It did work very well for me. I did not loose hair due to PCOS, but I was loosing it because of stress. I noticed increased thickness in a matter of weeks. You really have to give it some time. And try not to obsess, looking all the time to see if it is better, or if there are baby hairs! Easier said than done! But within a few weeks I had baby hairs sprouting out all over and thicker hair. Wish you the best with it. ~Misty

My boss....who is used to be a hair stylist bought it for me from the beauty supply store (luckily with her discount). I only used 3/4 of the bottle and noticed a difference. I did not use the leave in conditioner. But it worked. Hope it works for you. The stats are pretty high for producing growth. ~Misty

Hey guys... do you know if you can buy it at those Sally Beauty Supply stores? Or can anyone recommend a good place to get it for a fair price? I'm really wanting to try it... I also heard Murad hair line is good.

Thanks Jackie. I looked up their website and found a list of salons in my area that supply it. It's also available at JC Penney in my area. So I'll give them a call tomorrow and see how much they sell it for. Thanks again!

I buy the super big bottles online at

http://store.hello-gorgeous.net/nioxin.html

The price seems to be discounted, though it's still expensive, and the big size bottles last a long time, so it's definitely worth it. The product usually arrives a day or two after I order it.

Good luck ladies!

I've been using Nioxin Level 8 for a few months & I definately think it has helped my thinning hair. It's pricey, but I'd still recommend it.

I started using the nizoral about 3 or 4 days ago. I got the starter kit-cleanser, scalp therapy, scalp treatment. I really like it. It's the first time i've been able to use a conditioner all over my hair everyday without feeling like me hair was all frizzy and limper than usual. I really like it, makes my hair fuller and easier to style, you can still see my scalp and it's obvious that the hair i do have is very thin, but i don't look like i have bald patches anymore. It looks better and i'll definately keep using it.

I bought Nioxin starter kit 8 shampoo condition and foam. So far I have noticed that it has helped my hair. It has smoothed it out, (my hair was not doing so well it was stressed out from all the shedding), and is easy to use.

I have noticed little hairs on the top of my head, and less shedding (esp in the shower for some reason, most of it is out of the shower now in stead of both). I didn't have balding, just a LOT of hair loss/shedding.

I don't really like the foam, it has a very 'product' in my hair feeling(I'm a very natural hair person), but it adds a LOT of thickness/fullness.

I'd say get it, it is pricy, but if you're losing hair it's worth a shot. Go to their website to find which is right for you. I got mine off of hello gorgeous as well as someone else had mentioned above. No problems.

Good luck,
-Steph
