Default Did spironolactone increase your triglycerides?

I had my cholesterol and TG checked at my last annual. The only difference in my meds from the last time was that I started spironolactone (100 mg 1xday). My TG increased 40 points (up to 170), My ob said that we should just keep an eye on it, but it bothers me some. I did some research on the web and found a couple citations that said spironolactone can increase TGs. Obviously my doctor didn't know that. Anyone else have a similar increase in TGs after starting spironolactone?
