3 months the first two times, 10 months the third time (also was on soy and DH on Clomid the third time)

I was on Metformin for a couple of years before TTC. Once we decided to try I went off my BCP's and got pregnant that same month.

Well I'm waiting for AF (got a couple BFNs and she's late by almost 4 days) and once she comes we'll be in our 6th cycle of TTC. It'll be the second month of being on Metformin! Thank you for your responses!!!

We tried for 4 1/2 years before finally finding the magic combo of meds for me. Met 1700mg, 150mg clomid and 8mg of Avandia. The first month I was on this combo I conceived DD Calli. After Calli was born we wanted to try again soon (striking while the Iron was hot so to speak) and conceived on the same combo on the second cycle of trying. I had a m/c this time. Then after waiting a couple of months as recommended by my Dr. We tried again and got Pg the first cycle of trying this time with twin boys. So don't give up. If they can find the right combo for you it may come fast!!

I started Met on 4/3/08. I took Provera to start my May cycle and I got my BFP on 6/7/08!!!!

it has been 3 yrs since i went off the pill .. i started met a year ago
but we did many other drug combos ..
i finally got my very first bfp a few weeks ago ...

DD#1 took 1 month of 1500 mg Met
DD#2 took 22 months of 1500 mg Met
pg #3 took 1 month of 1500 mg Met and 240 mg Vitex (but m'c'd at 5 weeks)
got pg without AF immediately after miscarriage on same combo of 1500 Mg Met and 240 mg Vitex. I LOVE the Vitex with the Met and will do that combo again next time.

I started met May of 06 and we got our BFP last Dec. But we did have a few breaks in there. Good luck!
