Did you get pregnant on BCP's, specifically Yasmin?
Hello all! I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday at work, and the conversation turned to TTC and BCP's and such. She told me she was taking Yasmin, and I told her that I had heard of a few people who had become pregnant while taking that. She is definitely NOT TTC, and I just wanted to get an informal poll of who here has gotten pregnant on Yasmin, so she can talk to her doctor about changing pills. So...did you get pregnant while taking Yasmin? Thanks in advance!

Amanda just a quick question for you. I see you are taking a few differnt meds. If you don't mind my asking what are they used for, PCOS are they helpful for you?

I don't mind at all (I guess you are talking to me and not Mandie). Mircette is my birth control pill. It isn't one that most women with PCOS take. It is very low dose and only has two days of no hormones. The first three weeks all have the same dose of hormones, then you have two days of no hormones, then five days of a little bit of estrogen.
Pravachol is for my cholesterol and triglycerides. This is the third cholesterol medication that I've tried. I eat very little fat or cholesterol, and I exercise, but I still have high cholesterol and it doesn't respond well to medication.
I also take a multivitamin, calcium supplements, and flaxseed oil. Flaxseed oil has the same benefits as fish oil but it is vegetarian. It is supposed to be good for cholesterol and it is also supposed to help with depression.
