did your cycle lengths get longer with age?

heya,

i was just wondering... were any of your cycles more regular when you were younger, say in your twenties, and oce you hit late twenties and early thirties it started to get longer and longer between each cycle?

i'm only asking because i'm so afraid if i dont start trying now, it'll just get worse..

Mine was exactly like that. As a teenager I had pretty regular cycle. Up until I was 18 I had NO symptoms of PCOS whatsoever. Then the acne started but my cycle was still normal (approx. 30 days) but because of the acne I started the pill and it did help. At that time I had no idea I had PCOS because I had never heard of it. It was when I was 26 when I came off the pill when all the symptoms came back worse than ever; severe acne, depression and my cycle was all messed up.

So in my case it definitely has gotten worse.
