Default Did your follies grow? Would love some hope!

Continuation to my post yesterday regarding my day 15 ultrasound. . .just trying to hold on to some hope here. . .

So day 15 ultrasound showed follies no bigger than 10 mm (1cm). Have any of you had a small follie mid-cycle and then go on to actually ovulate? I know with my last two children I always ovulated on day 20-23 on 50mg of Clomid. . .so given that time frame, is it just possible that my follies take longer to mature? because if I normally don't ovulate until day 20-23 wouldn't it be normal for my follies to be small still on day 15 or no??

Would love an experiences or just thoughts you girls have on the subject. . like I said. .just trying to stay positive.

Thanks so much!

Yes,it can grow...in my last cycle when I went for cd 14 ultrasound, there were no follies bigger than 10 mm. But when I again went for 19th day ultrasound there was one big follie. I generally ovulate late and you also seems to be.
Never give hope. Take another ultrasound appointment.

In same situation. Nothing bigger than 10mm on CD11 and CD16. I want to know if it's worth it to go back next week for another ultrasound.

Kari - Funny thing! If you have seen any of my recent posts you'll already know what my update is. . . but I started taking Provera because there was no sign of ovulation and sure enough AF never showed her face! Thank goodness I kept temping cause otherwise i would have missed O completely! Sure enough i ended up ovulating on day 39!! Go figure! So it is totally possible! I never did go back for another ultrasound though but it might be worth it for you too in a week or so.

Good luck!

last month was my first time on a monitored cycle (with clomid) and when i went in for my follicle scan on CD12 my biggest was a 12mm. they had me come back for another scan a week later and it was 20mm. i did get pregnant that cycle, but it was chemical.

this month i just went for my scan on friday (CD12) and had a 14mm follicle. i'm going back in a week to scan again - hopefully i'll have a big one (or more!)

good luck!

the follies can grow 1-2mm each day, so YES! it is possible.
Sometimes clomid can cause a delayed O.

get another ultrasound if you can!
