Did Your Mother Smoke During Pregnancy?

My mom never smoked or drank. My cousin from my moms side also has pcos. Definitely genetic.

Mine did NOT-----my PCOS is genetic. My aunt and grandmother both had it.

Yeah, my sister has it too. All of these ideas came from an article I read late one night. I didn't believe it, so I thought I'd get everyone's opinion on it....

My mom did smoke, but didn't drink. She had 6 kids within a span of 7 years (very fertile). All of my siblings have fertility problems (takes a long time to finally conceive). I am the only one dx with PCOS, but the others suspect they have it as well.

My mother did not smoke or drink; she does not have PCOS, and to my knowledge no one in my family has it other than me.

yes my mum smoked prob about 20 a day but didnt drink, she doesnt have PCOS but is type 1 diabetic and I think that may be linked

my mom smoked with all four of us..my older sister never had a problem conceiving, after her first child she had dysplesia (sp?), my lil sis is having a few problems, she is also over weight, my mom was heavy during her teenage years, she had and beat uterine cancer and also diagnosed with endemetrious..sorry, i can't spell...lol..we all have bad skin! during my sisters second pregnancy, she smoked..i hope her lil girl doesn't go through all this!!
