Default Hm...

I'm still looking for that -right- kind of diet myself.

Personally~ I started to work out at night, but I'm switching to the morning to boost my metabolism, and I'm just taking it a day at a time and watching what I eat. I'm staying away from the sweets and making small alterations in my eating habbits. No butter on bread, no ketchup, fat free salad dressing. I'm looking into that IR diet they've been talking about. Maybe you should too?

Good luck sweetheart,

-Waru-

im 15 and what i do is when my mom goes to the store i go with my mom and ill pick out what i want to eat and i compare all of them and i pick the one with the loweest sugar but also a reasonable serving size, this way im eating what i want but still on my diet and ive made my servings smalleer and fewer and ive noticed that im getting full on less than one plate instead of two plates. my friends and my mom say they can see that ive lost weight so i geuss its working lol. and most of the food i buy arent that bad taste wise and my taste for sugar has gone WAY down to wear a chocolate bar is too sweet. i hoped this helped!

don't forget exercising, it's key. diet and exercise have to be balanced.

Hey courtney! Welcome to the board!!!!

It's fine to be a newbie! There are alot of people that still haven't figured out the right amount of diet or exercise! But you do have to remember to keep exercise with the diet!

I am personally not a big person on cutting stuff totally out of your diet. I drink lots of water, eat Lean Pockets, Lots of veggies and fruits, and I am doing WATP! I also take my dogs walking!

Feel free to talk more to any of us! We also have a group that is a weight loss group that you are more than welcome to join! If you would like to discuss anything more personal, you can email me at alwaysasweetheart@gmail.com!

Courtney,
hope youre doing good..
When i first started my attempt to lose weight, i wrote down EVERYTHING i put in my mouth(and be honest..!!) and at the end of the week i saw my nutritionist (they are worthwhile, but you need a good one!) and he went over my notes with me and gave suggestions, at the end we made a new copy of the week but an improved one, he helped plan out what i ate,i still see him sometimes and he continues to guide me along in the huge world of nutrition! Honestly i'm a huge believer in nutrionists..
ps some nutrionists specialize in hormones, insulin levels and pcos..
hope it helped a litttle!
good luck.
