My Mood: Points: 705.87 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 705.87 | Thanks for all of the great information!! I didn’t see anyone mention the web site that I have fallen in love with (if I missed it I’m sorry). The web site that I love is www.diettv.com You can join for free and make a profile and then you can pick diet and exercise plan customized to your specific needs/wants. They have just about every diet you can think of or you can tailor one to you’re your life. There are also different exercise programs to choose from depending on what type of exercise you like to do. If you need to lose a certain number of pounds by a certain date, it will tell you what you have to do to make it there. Everyday you get a meal and exercise plan to follow. If you decide to eat something different then on your meal plan (like if you eat out or something) you can add it to your daily food log to keep track of your calories. You can also track the exercise you do, water you drink and how many pounds you have lost. There are a bunch of different tools to help you keep up with your diet and weight lose and you can find people in your area to link up with. I like this because you can find an exercise buddy which I think is one of the best motivators to lose weight. All in all it is a pretty cool site and best of all it is free (my favorite part)!

My Mood: Points: 567.94 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 567.94 | I found this thread loaded with knowledge I was seeking. I restricted white flour and white sugar from my diet after going to a holistic doctor. I found this to be extremely successful, as I lost 30lbs. With the loss of that weight came a monthly cycle I had been missing for quite some time. Along with maintaining my diet came a very regular cycle every month! I swear by it, that sugar is truly a poison to our bodies |

Im starting a new healthy eating diet and have read in a health magazine that a Chromium supplement can help with weight loss but when I looked at them in a health shop it said it may enhance insulin sensitivity and may affect
your blood glucose levels. So im not sure if I can take it due to the Insulin resistance. Can anyone suggest if this would be safe or not?
Thanks

Points: 134.92 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 134.92 | Hi there
My daughters and I all have PCOS and weight loss has been nearly impossible. The Drs have been no help at all, just saying things like with pcos your lucky to loose 3 lbs a month. So I did some research and found something that is working for us. SO far I have lost 50lbs I have 50 more to go for my first goal weight. WOOHOOO I had given up. Both of my daughters had given up and one had gallbladder surgery. That was an eye opener for me- she is only 18. Here is the link www.anewshape.tsfl.com
It has been remarkable and I feel great. Along with the pcos, the hair issues and the weight issues I also have other health issues so when I say I feel great I really mean it LOL I guess I am just so happy to have found something that is working for us. |

I am really seriously debating between the GI diet and the WW high protein...I have had some luck in the past with WW and was wondering if someone could please e-mail the nifty desktop food/activity points calculator that the first post talks about. I would really appreciate it as all my WW stuff is in storage and I have no idea where to even start looking for it. Thanks ladies! |
