Techlady- Adams natural peanut butter doesn't have sugar in it It does need to be refridgerated. It took me a while to get used to natural peanut butter, but now I like it much better!

Hey Beylia,
have you ever seen a vegan (moral issues) wearing leather shoes? It reminds me of when Pam Anderson was all about PETA and was photographed wearing those boots made of lambskin or whatever. She got so many complaints about it that she made her own kind that were cruelty free~
I feel bad for celebrities, they gots to watch it extra hard!

Oh yah, it's off topic, but has anyone seen the mag cover with Kate hudson? That poor woman, I would die to look like that after my baby and those people just rip her up! I think she's beautiful and her tum tum is a testiment of her being a MAMA!

PS~ I see your mood is sad and I hope that you cheer up

Hey Chelsea,

Yes I have! I find it funny. Yeah I remember when Pammy got busted for wearing Ugg boots. I don't think I could deal with being under a microscope like that.

Still a little sad today but things are getting better. Work issues. Always fun. Thanks. Hopefully today will go well.

Thanks for the diet info. I'd be interested in seeing what herbs he had you take also.

I live on the west coast so there's no chance of me driving to Amish country, lol, but I am very interested in the whole program that was laid out for you....the herbs, vitamins, and cleansing instructions. If you find time to post everything I would greatly appreciate it!

They ordered their herbs from Pure Herbs LTD (800-860-4372 if you want to find a local retailer). They can be expensive so I only took them for the 2 months that the herbs lasted.

Digestion: D-W 1 tsp. 3 x day
Colon: CCE-W 1 tsp 3 x day
LBS-11 as directed on bottle
Thyroid: T-W 1 tsp. 3 x day
Hypoglycemia: HIK-W 1 tsp 3 x day
Uterus: Red Clover Blend 1 tsp 3 x day
Dong Quai 1 tsp 3 x day

******WARNING-Both Red Clover and Dong Quai are considered abortion drugs and should not be taken while trying to conceive*********

Vitamins:
Multi-vitamin
Calcium (as directed)
Vit B6 (as directed)
Vit E (400 IU 1 x day)

Schedule:
Begin taking D-W, CCE-W, LBS-11, and HIK-W for seven days.
On the 8th and 9th days, do the Liver cleanse. Stop all herbs during this cleanse.
On the 10th day, resume herbs and add T-W.
On the 11th day, add Red Clover and Dong Quai.

On the 15th day, I decreased dosages to 1 tsp 1 x day and added fish to my diet.

Liver and Gall Bladder Cleanse:

Do on a Saturday!
Take no medicine, vitamins, or pills that you can do without.
Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch.
Do not eat or drink anything after 2:00PM

Things you will need:
4 tbs Epsom salts (drug store)
1/2 cup olive oil
1 large or 2 small fresh, pink grapefruit (enough for 3/4 cup juice)

2:00PM - Mis 4 tbs Epsom salts in 3 cups water. Set in fridge. Grapefruit and olive oil should be room temperature.
6:00PM - Drink 3/4 cup of Epsom salt solution. (yes, this tastes about as good as you can imagine)
8:00PM - Drink another 3/4 cup of Epsom salt solution.
9:45PM - Squeeze grapefruit into cup, remove pulp. Add lemon juice if you want to. Pour into olive oil and mix until they don't seperate. Now prepare for bed.
10:00PM - Drink the grapefruit/oil mixture. You may use one lump of brown sugar to chase it down. Get it down in 5 minutes. Lie down immediately (he is not joking about this). Lie flat on your back with your head high on pillows (to prevent heartburn/reflux). Hold still at least 20 minutes. Go to sleep.

Next morning, take third dose of Epsom salts (after 6:00AM)
2 hours later, take fourth and last dose of salts.

After two more hours, you may begin eating lightly, preferably starting with fruits and juices. Expect diarrhea all day. Watch for gallstones (they float and look like green peas). This cleanse is to be done ONCE. Never cleanse when you are ill.

Thank you for posting all the details. I guess I'll have to wait to try it until we take a ttc break though.....darn. I definately will be trying it though in the future, so thank you again : )

Quick question: After the 15th day, are you supposed to continue all the herbs at 1tsp 1x/day indefinately, or is there a time you stop them?

If you're eating cleanly...then don't put any artificial sugar in your body, and yes splenda, stevia, etc. are all artificial sugars. Use real sugar but not lots of it.

Stevia isn't 'artificial'. When I was in Thailand, and you ordered tea, you were also served a small cup of dried stevia leaves. If you put one or two in your cup, it sweetened the tea nicely.

The white powdery 'stevia' sold in stores is processed, and has additives (but even then, i wouldn't call it 'artificial', and certainly not an artifical 'sugar'.)

For those looking for another natural solution, try agave. This link has a clip from Oprah where Dr Oz talks about agave: http://www.dvo.com/agave-nectar.html

Agave has a lower glycemic load than table sugar.

Smiles - I dropped down the herbs because I could not afford the 3xday. Each bottle was $30 (month supply) and that really adds up. I would not recommend taking the Dong Quai and Red Clover for extended periods, just use it as needed (for a few weeks).

I just bought agave necar yesterday . . . it's REALLY good! Yummo! Use sparingly, of course, 'cause it still has calories, but it has a lovely flavor.

This sounds very similar to Dr. Ian Smith's phase I of the Fat Smash.
