Default Diff generic met, now side effects??

Hello ladies!

Just a quick question. Last month my met was by a certain generic company and I had little or no side effects, it was great. This month, my prescription looks different and after some research I found it was made by a different company. I now seem to be having all the bad side effects (or something else is wrong.) Can this be from the change in generic companies that my pharmacy is using? Shouldn't the make up be the same? Have this happened to anybody else?

Thanks!

Has your diet been consistent throughout both meds? I have switched back and forth from different companies (same pharmacy switches brands constantly and have never had any difference except when I got lax on my diet.

I'd try that route first and if it doesn't improve, give your pharmacy a call about the change.

Good luck!

They may use different fillers or even a different dye in the pill. Like Christy said check with ur pharmacy.

I had a freind who was ona medication and went out of town and needed a refill and the pharmacy she went to had the pill but it was made by another pharmacutical and here she had an allerigc reaction to the dye in the pill.
