This is currently my 4th round of clomid and I have taken it 5-9 and I've only O'd once on my second cycle 100mg and all the other rounds I didn't O. When I got preg with my daugther I got preg on 5-9. When I did O it was CD 19. And I"m wondering do you think if I changed it to 3-7 that would help me? My doc says 5-9 works for most of his patients so I'm just wondering if I should take it earlier.

From what I understand, taking the pills earlier in your cycle tends to create more follies that are smaller, and taking it later tends to create fewer follies that are bigger. I don't know if that helps you decide which days to take it, but that's what I understand the difference to be.

i did 4 rounds of taking it cd 2 to 6 then on round 5 changed to cd 5 to 9 and got a bfp, but i guess its worth a try at chnaging it!

I decided to try 3-7. I've done 3 rounds of clomid on 5-9 and I only O'd once. So I hope since I"M on a higher dose and changed my days that will help me this cycle!
