hi melau, nice to meet you.
i was looking for a similar topic as this one. let me tell you what happened: i'm 27 years old. i've had dark blotches on my skin right underneath my right breast and on my upper torso. i had them for years thinking that they were from wearing bras. years later, this past july, i saw a nurse practitioner at my school and she did a battery of blood tests on me. lo and behold, i had PCOS. i cried for two weeks and kept asking myself, why me?
anyways, i started bcps for the first time in my life on august 3rd, and now i'm on my fifth pack already. two or three weeks ago i noticed just after getting out of the shower that my blotches were gone!!! my skin color under my right breast matches the rest of my body. i still have a tiny dark spot on my upper torso, but it "pales" in comparison to what i used to have before (no pun intended!)
so i can tell you up front that the birth control is what took away the discoloration in my skin. obviously you can't take it now since you're expecting a new baby (congratulations and good luck by the way!) and if you have hypertension, bcp's will do more harm than good.
Mine has gone away since I started taking apple cider vinegar shots before meals (two tablespoons Braggs organic acv before lunch and before dinner) and cut out refined carbohydrates entirely from my diet (no sugar or anything "white"). I had it while on BCP under my breasts, arms, and where my skin flaps met on my tummy (since I've lost weight I no longer have skin flaps there), and had them misdiagnosed first as tinea versicolor and then eczema.
