I wanted to share my experience at the pharmacy today. Picking up my Vaniqa, which Blue Cross does not cover, the pharmacy clerk asked if I had AAA roadside. Since I do, I gave her my card and she ran it through the computer and I only had to pay $37 for the Vaniqa!!!

She said that anytime insurance does not cover, try the AAA card as they provide discounts on lots od meds.

Thought I would share, it definately makes it more affordable for me - and I cannot wait it try it for other meds =)

Goal: Better general health, drop 60 lbs, gain control of the hair and acne, give my DH his wife back.

Metformin - 1000 mg (changed 10/06 from 2000 mg - NOT by choice)
Spiro - 25 mg (reduced from 50 mg 10/06 - NOT by choice)
Lipitor 40 mg (dosage increased 10/06)
Tricor 145 mg (added 10/06)
Zovia 1/35 (since 08/06)

Last time I picked it up it was $80 or $85, but it has been awhile. It was too expensive to keep it up, but I finally hit the wall and needed to try something - no matter the price. What a nice surprise though!!!
