I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged, I know the feeling, but give it another few weeks... My dr said it can take 2-3 months before you see the benefits of met.
What is the result you are trying to achieve with met?

I would like to have a cycle again...I cannot start charting or just keep track of anything without having that starting time. I feel a little lost and have no real direction yet!

I know how it feels....It's like you never know where you stand, or what's going on with your own body.
Can you go to your DR and get him to give you something to induce AF so that you can have a starting point?

I felt the same way you do now! It took Met 4 months to allow AF to visit! Hang in there and DON'T stop taking it! I wanted to quit SO bad! DON'T do it! My doctor said it could take 4-6 months to work, I know it's long, but it's worth it once it works! Your body is still figuring out what the heck is going on...give it time to adjust! Keep the faith!

Yea I agree, don't stop taking it. And don't give up.
It took me 2 months to get AF with Met. After 3 weeks I thought it wasn't working and almost stopped taking it. Met sometimes takes a while to get in your system. But you have to be patient in the long run.
Don't give up, because it is so worth it.

Please dont get discouraged. Met can take awhile to get the hormones back in order. Its a chain reaction so it doesnt immediately fix everything. It took me a full year to reap all of the benefits that it had to offer.

Hang in there!

I've been on met for a month and a half. I still haven't seen AF. I am praying that it comes soon so I can start charting. I'm getting blood tests the beginning of every month. If my levels don't return to normal by January, I'm hoping my RE will start me on Clomid.

Hoping for a Christmas miracle!

Babydust to all!
