I just joined the site today and was diagnosed with PCOS in December 2008, though I suspected for several months that was the case.

I had a mc in March 2008 and after several months of TTC, including Clomid, my OB referred me to my RE.

Today was my baseline u/s and they found an cyst on my left ovary. I just got the results that it is an estrogen producing cyst so I can't start taking the Femara tomorrow -- I have to wait a month and hope to cyst goes away.

I'm so frustrated and discouraged right now. I was glad to finally have a diagnosis and feel like I had a 'plan' in place. I'm so tired of the waiting part of this. I know I'm not alone in this, but it's so hard when your close friends are having children and getting pregnant with no problem. The hardest thing about this is learning patience and learning this isn't all in my control. At the same time, i want to advocate for myself and not get lost in the system.

So, tonight will be a good cry -- maybe even some wine. Then I'll have to suck it up and move on tomorrow -- without the Femara.
