Thread: Distraught, Discourage...think I'm going to cry

Ok...so I decided to give Vitex a try and was loving it! I started in Mid November...had some spotting 12 days later and then exactly 28 days after that had my first real AF all by myself!! I was so excited and thinking that I had finally found something that was going to help. I was amazed at how quickly it worked too.

Now..fast forward to today. Here I am 30 days later and nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Aside from feeling horrible - nausous, heartburn, incredibly tired, weepy - I have no sign of my AF. Add in that I've been getting these weird cramps...they are so localized that I can point to exactly where it "pinches". These started on Sunday. Had them all day on Sunday, then once or twice a day since then. AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH

I am so tired of not feeling like a woman. I just want to be NORMAL!!!!

It is not too bad if you are on day 30, just have a little bit more patience and if AF does not come POAS again! Good luck!

I agree. Wait some time and try to POAS again. If still BFN, I would call your dr.

How many days past O are you?

Also, some women do need more than a couple of months to respond well to Vitex. Some do better adding Dong Quai. Some need a tincture if a capsule isn't cutting it.

And some are just pregnant!! Good luck!!

I'm taking one 500 mg capsule per day, the Nature's Fingerprints (GNC) brand.

I think I will ask my dr at the end of this month if I should take vitex instead of soy.
