Default DIY Progesterone Support

It looks like I may need prog. support during my luteal phase as my l.p on my last cycle was only 11-12 days.

There's a good chance that the Fertility Clinic wouldn't consider this (I don't know yet) if its not 'normal protocol'.

So is there a way of getting progesterone over the counter?

This current cycle is unmedicated (except for Metformin) as the clinic's Christmas shutdown will get in the way apparently so I might give it a go for this cycle as well.

I'm on CD3 - is it too late to start temping this cycle? I want to do everything I can to make this as normal a cycle as possible. I've just been so caught up in the post period arrival depression that I hadn't thought about it yet.
