Default dizziness

i'm not saying this is related to pcos, but wondering if anyone has any idea what might be causing this. i've been having some dizziness, like if i stand up too fast or if i'm kneeling down by my coworker to help her with her computer and then stand up. it just doesn't seem normal. any idea? the funny thing is i'm exercising regularly and eating healthier and now i start having a strange symptom. the same thing happened a couple years ago... lost weight and started getting pcos symptoms very bad. my stupid body.

Are you on any meds (met, gluc, etc). It could be that your sugar levels are down.

This happened to me when I first started low-carbing. I think my body had to get used to the normal sugar/insulin levels.

Hope you feel better soon!

no, i don't think i'm sick or have an ear infection. i am coming to the conclusion that it must be related to spring allergies. since turning 29, they keep getting worse each year. each year i develop some new crazy symptom and all i can figure is it is the pollens bothering me. well, at least that's not anything too serious. thanks for your input.

Sorry I needed to respond to this. I had every test done under the sun to figure out why I was so dizzy. After 8 months I had my ear cleaned out, and I was all better.

I use q-tips, and I was pacjing wax in there so much it got stuck, and was causing vertigo.

See if your ears need to be flushed. It hurt really bad, but two days later I was just fine. Oh and no more q-tips for me except on the outside. lol

I was experiencing severe vertigo daily for the last few months. I had CT scans, glucose tolerance tests, and went to a Hearing and Balance specialist. Nobody could give me any answers. I was about to give up, then just by coincidence I had my annual gyno exam and was put on met. That was a month a go and I havn't had a dizzy spell since my first dose. I don't know why it helped, but it helps so many other PCOS symptoms that it might be worth a try for you too. Best of luck.

Are you taking any diuretics, blood pressure meds and/or could you be dehydrated?

Any of these could cause a drop in blood pressure upon standing quickly and will make you dizzy.
