Hello everyone,
I'm new on this site but I'm already impressed with the sheer level of support and information that it offers.
I have been diagnosed with PCOS for the last 11 yearsbut it is only in the last 2 or 3 that I have learnt about insulin resistance, diet and so on. I lost nearly 4 stone a year and a half ago and felt much better (unsurprisingly! Duh!). I lots that through the insulin resistance diet. Plus I am gluten & diary intolerant which kind of helps a bit. (Until someone showed me gluten free range of cakes - I spent the last year eating pure sugar basically!)
HOwever, I have had weird feelings of disorientation, dizziness, blurred vision, dry eyes and weakness recently. LAst year I had a few attacks of vertigo from nowhere (never had that before).
I am now not driving very much in case I am a danger although I have always managed to pull over safely if I have a panic attack and I have never had vertigo when driving, just this sense of disorientation and eye weirdness.
I have put some weight back on in the last year due to giving up smoking and I can notice a lot of symptoms come back. I've noticed a few other posts about dizziness. I relate to the feeling of getting up with a "falling over hangover". Does anyone think these things are related to the last year of eating too much sugar? Has anyone else experienced this but found a way of getting rid of this feeling like your head is looking at everything through a bowl of water?
Sorry this ended up being avery long message - I'm a bit wafty in my style at the moment!
Many thanks,
Messy Hair xx
