Do all women who have PCOS deal with anovulation ?
Is anovulation something we will all deal with, I'm assuming that we're all going to have issues with not ovulating at some point in time.
I don't know, if there is someone who knows more about this, then please explain it to me because I don't really understand this whole anovulation thing.
I dont know too much about anovulation but i DO know that i experience it.
Not all PCOSers experience it though. PCOS is a strange thing..you would think since there a name we would share all the same complaints but its not that way. Some PCOSers Ovulate every single month but dont get pregnant or m/c alot. Some dont O at all and need meds or lifestyle changes to get things back into gear.
For the most part it seems like there is hope usually herbs or meds will help us ovulate so its definately not as scary as it seems. I try to take it one day at a time.

Thanks for responding !
I heard you can buy some home kit to find out if you're ovulating or not.....are they reliable tests ?
Here is the link from one of the articles Kat has posted in the article section. If you scroll down there is a section called PCOS variants but the entire article is a very good explanation of PCOS. Pcos - Required Reading!! .
From my understanding, some ppl have had luck with predicting ovulation and some not so much.

What I have heard from surfing the boards (and its printed on the box) is that Ovulation Predictor Kits (also called OPK's on the boards) do not work as well for those of us with PCOS as they do for women who do not have it. Personally I've never tried them, but at my last appt with my Dr., she told me to use them cycle days 10-20 on my next cycle. She also said that the most accurate ones they have found so far are the Clear Blue Easy Digital Opk's.
