Default I normally wouldn't talk about this!

My Dr. rx Vaniqa. ( I didn't think it would work.) It tells you to shave or pluck. I tried it on my stomach (was getting alot of thicker hair below my belly button). I shaved the area (with a Venus razor) and then I used the cream. It's been about two weeks and it's bearly coming back.

The dr. says I may have the "beginning stages" of PCOS, even though I think I may have had it for at least 3 years. All of my symptoms are mild.

I have a few stray ones here and there on my face... I can't bring myself to start shaving them (I tweeze them). So I wanted to try it somewhere first, before I use it on my face. Now that I know it works, I'll have to try it on my face.

We'll see what it does!

I shave my chin every morning. I used Vaniqa for awhile, but it didn't work. I've been on Spiro for almost a year and I don't see any difference.

Unhappy

Hello. I have been shaving my face since I was about 16. I have always had some hair on my face. More particularly on the side burns. I have used Vaniqua to slow down the effects. However, it burns so bad it brings tears to me eyes. I was looking at other threads and thought about waxing. So, I might explore that. For shaving I use Gillette Senor for women. Also, do not use the same razor on your body as you would your face. The body hair is more course that the facial hair and can cause nick's and cuts!

I really don't think that the Vaniqa helps with stomach hair. Stomach hair doesn't grow like facial hair. Plus the Vaniqa takes several weeks to take effect.

Hi all,

I have been shaving under my chin for about 10 years and plucking my face (mostly blonde hairs) and chest. Since starting Glucophage XR 2000 mg this January, I have seen a marked decrease in black hairs all over my body. Even my legs which I would normally have to shave every two days are lasting a week or more! Needless to say, I am thrilled.

I use mach 3. So yes I do shave. I have to shave my moustache, my chin and my legs I have to shave almost every day. The most uncomfortable one I have to is around my aerolas. I get little black hairs around there and it makes me feel so gross! I haven't tried anything else, but am open to suggestions!

Unhappy Shaving

I have been shaving my facial hair with a razor for a few years now. I get hair growth all over my cheeks and chin and a little on my throat area. The growth reappears about every 5 or 6 hours. I just use a regular razor. This is the worst thing ever. I hate having facial hair.
