It RAISES estrogen and if you had high levels before starting the pill you are at higher risk of deveoping estrogen dominance which is the cause of hormonal imbalances to start with and will manifest after you have stopped using the pill into PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids yadda yadda. Estrogen dominance is the cause off all our womanly endocrine issues.
My goodness I trying to clear up my acne the next thing I know i have PCOS, endometriosis and possibly diabetes.
Im really mad coz my doc wont give me progesterone cream instead of the pill which will help much better.. i also have the night sweats but I had them before starting the pill.. I think the night sweats have something to do with the hypoglycemia and diabetes part of having PCOS?? Im just waiting to get tested for this then I will update.
