Do I have PCOS? Hi all,
I am 38 y/o with no kids, thin with excessive vaginal bleeding for six months now. Had an ultrasound yesterday that showed nothing and blood tests that came back normal, but I have acne and some facial hair especially in the chin area, my doc diagnosed me with DUB. I am wondering if any of this sounds like it could be PCOS related as I read that is a common cause of DUB in women over 35.

It could be.Have you asked your Doctor because if not perhaps you should.It will probably help to ease your mind a bit.

Welcome here! I don't know what DUB is. Keep going to doctors until you get some answers. Lots of docs don't know about PCOS.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the welcome, it is appreciated.
DUB is dysfunctional uterine bleeding. I do need to ask my doc if he thinks I have PCOS, well, I will be seeing him in a week for an endometrial biopsy to figure out what's causing this bleeding.
